Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 comes with Marvell PXA986 instead of Exynos - Tablet Community

By Benchmark information is now become known about it, only to obstruct what chipset in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 3.

Samsung seems to aim at a discounted price with the Galaxy Tab 7.0 3. Great changes to its predecessor, there is not. The 7-inch display has as yet the first Galaxy Tab P1000 with 1024 x 600 pixels on a processor and only a 1.2-GHz dual-core processor is used.

While it was not known at the launch of the exact type of processor, now at a record GFXBench has revealed that it will be either the manufacturer of the Marvell PXA986. Apparently this is so cheap despite integrated 3G module that shopping for Samsung is more efficient than to use their own Exynos processor family. Another reason could be that it reserved the capacity of the Exynos production rather for the high-priced flagship devices.

It must be said, of course – bad the Marvell chipsets are not. The two Cortex-A9 cores are sufficient for a solid performance and the Vivantec-GC1000 GPU is at least more powerful than the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 built-in PowerVR SGX 540 Nevertheless, the graphics performance is far behind the quad-core chips from last year such as the Tegra 3

I wonder what the MSRP will be for the Galaxy Tab 7.0 3. If one of them settles still 100 to 200 euros, you get the realistic street price for a few weeks after its market launch. A suggested retail price of up to 300 euros would be very gratifying.
