With 3 Kids Samsung Galaxy Tab features a 7-inch tablet for children. The running with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet comes in a yellow, robust housing and access to a dedicated app store with child-friendly content.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 kids will be made by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 1 gigabyte of RAM and powered via a 7-inch touch-sensitive display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels and a pixel density of 170 PPI operated. For Internet access and media streaming on your home network, the tablet supports WiFi dual-band n with WiFi Direct, for data exchange with other devices and Bluetooth 3.0 and USB 2.0.
Other features of the 9.9 mm thick and 302 grams heavy Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 kids are a rear 3.2-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera for video chats, and a strong 4,000 mAh battery. The internal memory is limited to 8 gigabytes, which allows users to have only 4.5 gigabytes available upon delivery of the unit, and can be expanded via microSD card up to 32 gigabytes.
Samsung has designed the user interface appropriate for children with colorful illustrations and large buttons. Pre-installed content includes educational and entertainment programs, games and e-books. Parents can use a application manager used by their children select and apps control. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids also offers a time management function that parents can set usage time for their children. When the preset time has elapsed, the tablet is a password-protected lock screen. Through a password-protected access also reach parents in the Classic Mode with the famous Android platform and TouchWiz user interface with which they can use as a normal 3 Galaxy Tab 7.0, the device of their children.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 kids is now commercially available, the 229 euro (RRP) expensive device is the first shops in stock. Included is a handy protective case. The normal Galaxy Tab 7.0 3 functions without children currently costs in stores from about 170 euros.
