The CES 2014 is just another week over, already provides Samsung before another puzzle piece of his this year’s tablet offensive. This time it is however not a high-end product like the Galaxy Note and TabPRO series, but a budget device that bears the name Galaxy Tab 3 Lite and not more than a scaled-down (!) new edition of the recently introduced 7-incher Galaxy Tab 3
Not only that segment of the luxury equipment is relevant for Samsung, also the field of budget tablets will be supplied. According to Samsung presents unsurprisingly the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, which comes with dual-core SoC with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz and 1 GB RAM. The display with a screen size of 7 inches dissolved in 1024 x 600 pixels and has a pixel density of 169.5 ppi, which – if the price of the device below the 150 euro mark is held – would still be in order. A front camera for video calling lacks the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, a main camera, which is probably no more than a Notknipse with its 2 MP, however, but was intended. The internal memory of 310 grams, the device is, as might be expected for a budget tablet different, with 8 GB kept quite low, via micro SD card but can expand this up to 32 GB.
Unlike its predecessor, the battery of 4000 mAh has been reduced to 3,600 mAh. The operating system that comes now in the days Come Android 4.2 for about the Samsung as usual its own user interface TouchWiz has laid -. Gives an update to a more recent version of Android is not necessarily to be expected due to its price range for this device
Samsung has so far not given a price for the tablet, and it is not known when they can expect with the launch. A Polish online store according to who recorded the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite little premature in his offer, the tablet 120-130 euros will cost – for this price you can outfit technically not expect much more. There is a price of around 150 euros but already the ASUS MeMO Pad significantly better HD 7 (Test) – our recommendation in this price range
