New Features for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Finally, the most recent update for the phablet the Koreans also arrived in Germany – and equips it with, for example, download booster, which we already know from the Samsung Galaxy S5
From a user AllAboutSamsung has received several screenshots that demonstrate the update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It therefore has the version number XXUFNG2 and is a whopping 196.85 MB in size – that it also has a lot to offer. These would include the said download Booster, which premiered with the Samsung Galaxy S5. It can be used to double the downstream speed, because the channels of connection are bundled. Other enhancements include the child mode, a new feature for the camera and an improvement in safety – the latter is possible with Samsung Knox. This service is now available in version 2.0.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3, however, is not the only phablet the Koreans, which has recently received an update. Owner of the predecessor last week were able to enjoy a new version of the operating system – even in Germany thus the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 runs on Android 4.4.2, while in France the update is already longer available. The update is available for download via Samsung Kies and over the air, but it can at the rollout take a few days to really be able to download the new firmware to all devices. In any case, it’s nice to see that Samsung will continue to maintain support for older devices, such as for the Galaxy Note 2 – especially against the background that with a presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected at IFA 2014 in September. All rumors about the next generation of phablets we have you listed in this overview.
