About a month ago, Samsung has its Galaxy Tablet S portfolio presents: The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab 10.5 S come with high-resolution Super AMOLED displays, octa core power and 3 GB RAM. Anyone interested in the new high end tablet of the South Korean manufacturer can pre-order the device now: Amazon and Saturn provide the Tablet S models from now on, as the delivery is the 15 July targeted.

The technical specifications of the Galaxy Tab S models in a nutshell: Both devices are powered by an Exynos 5420 Octa-core processor with four 1.9 GHz Cortex A15 1.3GHz Cortex A7 and four cores clocked. Both versions come with either 16 or 32 GB of internal memory which can be expanded using microSD cards. 3 GB of RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat complete the offer.

The larger model of the Galaxy Tab suburban family is a 10.5 inch diagonally measured Super AMOLED display in the WQXGA resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels equipped (pixel density: 288 ppi), the smaller model comes with a 8.4 inches diagonally measured WQXGA panel (pixel density: 359 ppi).

Both tablets have an 8 MP rear and a 2.1 MP front camera. The 8.4-inch model of the battery is 4900 mAh large, the larger model comes with a 7,900 mAh battery.

In terms of software comes as Samsung’s Galaxy TabPro devices as special tablet extension called Magazine UI used. In addition, the multi-window mode supports up to four apps in split screen. With the SideSync 3.0 function calls can be received on the smartphone, answer directly via tablet, even the making of telephone calls is possible with this function.

Interesting are the different availability dates: While Amazon in the 10.5 inch and 8.4 inch model as Release Date July 15 indicating the date of delivery of the Galaxy Tab 10.5 S is Saturn still unclear – the 8.4 inch version is in the Saturn online shop but also be available with the July 15
