Samsung Galaxy Alpha tested at U.S. radio FCC – Curved

Thinner than the Apple iPhone 5s? The Samsung Galaxy Alpha was apparently already undergone extensive testing – of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The corresponding smartphone model in which it is to concern the Galaxy Alpha is out there under the name SM-G850F.

According to the FCC be the extent of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Alpha 133 x 67 mm. Thus, it runs one size smaller than the Samsung Galaxy S5, whose dimensions are 142 x 72.5 mm. This indirectly confirms the rumors that the Galaxy Alpha receives a display with a diagonal of only 4.7 or 4.8 inches. Apparently, the Galaxy Alpha also extremely thin: With only 6 mm depth, it would be even flatter than the iPhone 5s, report PhoneArena; even if the thickness of the smartphone is not mentioned in the test results of the FCC

In terms of connectivity the Samsung Galaxy Alpha corresponds probably all modern standards. According to FCC, WLAN and Bluetooth 4.0 available as well as NFC and LTE. The listed model SM-G850F is obviously not intended for release in the United States – which markets the Galaxy Alpha appears eventually, but is currently still uncertain

Other rumors predict that the Galaxy Alpha a metal frame. is obtained. The display will presumably resolve with 1280 x 720 pixels; as the operating system is to release Android 4.4.4 KitKat be pre-installed.
