Samsung Galaxy Mega 2: Firmware is ready – Curved

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 could be announced at any moment. Reason to believe has the firmware that was already uploaded to the server by Samsung and kindly also some reveals about the hardware configuration of the phablets.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega is 2, as already expected, no iPhone killer 6 and even in the high-end range of smartphones to get involved. The datasheet that SamMobile has teased out from the firmware, draws a picture of a rather large and neatly appointed unit of the middle class, which runs from from home to the KitKat latest Android version 4.4.4.

According to Measure the Super AMOLED screen of the Galaxy Mega 2 almost 6 inches in diagonal and dissolve in 720 pixels 1280 x. The drive stuck a previously unannounced Samsung Exynos 4 processor with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz and 2 GB RAM. The internal memory of 8 GB can be expanded using microSD and the camera shoots images with 12 MP and can record video in 1920 x 1080.

The Galaxy Mega 2 offers no exotic features like a heartbeat sensor or a fingerprint scanner. As far as wireless connections, the device is, however, up to date, and is fluent in LTE, WiFi including n standard, Bluetooth 4.0 LE for operation with wearables and Ant + to connect to smart home hardware and other gadgets.

If the unknown processor to prove themselves and the Galaxy Mega 2 are offered as low as its predecessors, the device could be a tip for those who are looking for an affordable phablet with good price-performance ratio. Before laurels are distributed, the phablet must first be presented and tested. The presentation of the Galaxy Mega 2 is expected to be no later than the IFA in Berlin.
