Samsung Galaxy Alpha
Samsung an additional unit of the Alpha series in planning and this seems to go a step further, as the first models, because it is with a complete aluminum housing come along.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is the first model from Samsung which comes with a high quality aluminum frame. It has on the back, although still the leather-look plastic, but the first step is done and Hannes our team was actually pleased with the device. But Samsung is planning further models of the Alpha series, and one, the SM-A500, delivers us SamMobile today new information.
The display on this model is to grow to 5 inches, the resolution with 1280 x 720 However, pixels will be the same. There is also a Snapdragon 400, a camera with 8 megapixels on the back, with a 5 megapixel on the front page, 16 GB internal memory which can be extended and a battery with 2330 mAh. The SM-A500 is not protected against water and dust, has on the back no heart rate monitor and a fingerprint sensor.
The peculiarity of this alpha is that Samsung apparently after the first Alpha and the Galaxy Note 4 go one step further and the complete housing is manufactured from aluminum. That has to mean that the device should be even higher quality, however, you can not change the battery. That should be a point that will disturb many.
The Alpha series seems still such a thing as the new middle class to be with high-quality housing. Also here it is again interesting to wait for the suggested retail price, because the first Galaxy Alpha is not cheap for its features. And I’m almost believe that Samsung will also start at 600 euros as a model. This has been confirmed but not of SamMobile. We have neither price nor date, but I think we will know more in the next two months.
